using dark purple, dp different kind of french manicure-like on tips of nails
get white colour and draw some lines as follow, and fill in with black colour

Bought these two years ago during their warehouse sale.

1) Intensive Whitening Treatment

as i have fair complexion, this didn't really show good result on my face.

However, the texture was light and not greasy plus no strong scent.

2) 2008 Christmas Set( i think)

There were two fragrances to choose and i bought both as they were extremely cheap in the warehouse sale!!

This is pink colour and the other which i forgot to take photo was purple colour.

Both have nice scent and since there were all travel size, I used only when i travel to lightened my luggage.

There were a Body Lotion, Body Powder , a Solid Perfume and a cute pouch included.
Love them for their lovely scent and cute size.

3) Cleansing Milk

Paul and Joe's products give a light orange scent and doesn't irritate me.
This was used as the final make up remover for me.

I first removed my make up with Shu Uemura cleansing oil followed by this for final removing job.

This is really mild and nice.
I recommended to my sister and we both bought it during the warehouse sale this year in Corus Hotel.

As i don't use much for removing my make up, a bottle can last me for about 1.5 years or more...

really worth the price if u got it in warehouse sale.

there is a new pan mee shop opened in Menjalara, Kepong.

it is located at the corner of the second row of the shoplots opposite Tesco/Kepong Village Mall.

there is so far no signboard, but a banner writing spicy pan mee on it

What i like about the shop is that it is very clean and quite.

i felt peace when i dined here.
the boss and his wife are friendly and always smile.

here are some pictures of their menu:

The pan mee was nice and sold at an affordable price.
They dont offer a big variety of mee as they have no enough workers and they are still new.

The best thing about the shop is they sell fresh fruit juice with a very cheap price!!!!

the juice is 100% fresh as u can see them making it in the bar~

my favourite is amblah plum ice~ nice!!!! ^^

Attanded Jurlique workshop sometimes back tru plusizekitten.com It was held @ Royale Bintang Damansara

The registration desk.

staffs were friendly and nice inside the goodies bag -> voucher and some samples i like the box,so creative

before starting, simply took some photos

started, everybody was paying fully attention

1st lesson was about aroma therapy we got to take home 3 bottles of essential oil

essential oil for : cold and flu muscle relax stress release

we took a short break before continuing to next lesson: facial and we had some light refreshments

proceeded to next lesson

everything were already set on the table during the short break

this is something like shower cap. nice design!!

we cleaned,exfoliated,toned,masked and did many things...

the last was to apply sunblock a lady who shared the table with me was allergy to Jurlique's sunscreen..

a lesson here: for no matter what the main ingredients are , one can be allergy to some of the products too. so do try before u buy!!

after all, we redeemed the RM50 for something we thought good for us and i bought their fruit enzyme~

I think this is a really worth-to-go workshop for it cost only RM50 whilst u still get goodies bag worth so much more than RM50!!

the staffs were really nice and friendly and helpful too~

refreshments was ok but the halls were really freezing!!!!

remember to bring a sweater or what to keep urself warm~~ ^^

I don't like palette as the powder sometimes fall on the case and it's hard to clean.

This palette makes me feel summer and tha's y i bought it~

It is not so pigmented but still consider ok.
the solution is to reapply whenever u think necessary
since it is eas2bring around, it's fine with me.

the big NO for this is : the powder texture which can fall on under eyes

the texture is waterly which is good for blending.

I will not repurchade it as it is too soft to be used and traveled around.

I did not repurchase after this was finished as I do not really satisfy with the result.

Got this as door gift during last RMK workshop.

I thought it was the cream make up base which is their best-seller but instead, I got this: creamy make up base.

Like :

Non-greasy texture
easy to blend
transparent tube which let know how many left
no irritating caused
no annoying scent
brightened my face

Dislike:

The result was nothing special
a bit pricey
colorless which mean it does not tone your skin

the left side had no make up base, the right side had blended make up base
can you see the different?

I actually did not fall in love with it and there's any point for me to repurchase it.

I think any make up base could give the similar results.

I bought Anna Sui's make up base after this was finished.

Apply pink colour as base
Apply black colour on upper part of pink base. Make it
Draw black lines on lower part of pink and follow by white lines.
Using 3-D nail art pen, draw dots and bows on black colour as shown.
Apply any shimmery nail colour as liked
top coat

* I did not draw bows on my right nails as I have no enough time.

apply a very light/clear base colour
choose a 2/3 colours which match well
apply the colours on the tip of nail in stripes
vary their sequence to get better results
when they r dried, apply tickers of your choice(dark colour is better) on the nails
top up some dots/curvy lines foe better appearance

There are a lot of warehouse sale throughout the year.

As a smart consumer, we must know what can we get at warehouse sale what can't, when shall we shop, which shop gives the best deal, which brand is never worth buying at the counter/kiosk....

In my opinion,Parkson gives the best deal for:

double vouchers day
Bonuslink member day(free sign up for Bonuslink card)
free 2 hours parking in selected outlets
free Elite card for purchases RM500 and above
almost all brands of cosmetics and fragrances can be found there

As for warehouse sale, we can get very very cheap cosmetics and fragrances there.

Hence, I do not think buying those brands which held w/h sale from the counters/kiosks
are worth.

Why don't I wait until the w/h sale so I save a lot rather than getting samples/gifts?

These brands are in my black list, unless they really have great promotions,
I will not buy from counters/kiosks:

Went to Mid Valley with sister last Tuesday and we did no shopping but manage to get these samples,without spending~~~

Dior - moisturizer
Shu Uemura - cleansing oil x2
Kiehl's - deep pore cleansing masque

It's nice to receive samples without costing a cent but the face the SA shown was really bad sometimes, especially for some brands.

Still, the story here is: we are consumers and we have the rights to try the samples before buying. Do be brave to ask!!!

Bouught this at warehouse sale. Cleansing milk from Paul and Joe.

scent : orange-like milk

volume: 250ml

texture: light and waterly

thought: I used after removing make up. does not remove heavy make up but does for light's.

scent is fine for me. no sensitive caused.

others: nice box and packing.(french)

price: RM 100++ , got it at warehouse for about RM 50

This is an unknown brand lip gloss, but the colour of the gloss was nice~

it's like purple-pink, non-shimmery gloss.

bought this MM eyeliner when watson was having 30% off.
it's not expensive compare to the brands I normally used.

have a look

the brush wa white before using

when the liner same out, the brush became dark

I don't quite like this eyeliner for

I turned the cap for more than the suggested times (20) only I saw the liner came out..frustated
The amount of liner coming out is hard to control
non-waterproof as I sweat a lot
smudge easily!!!!

but it is quite handy and travel frinedly~

It is BETTER than the COSWAY & MISSHA liquid eyeliner

but WORSE than BODY SHOP liquid & SHU UEMURA pencil eyeliner

I will definitely not buying it again...

want to finish it fast as I cant wait to try my Anna Sui liquid eyeliner .... :P

This is a travel-size Hydra Quench Smoothing Gel.

The scent smell like Jasmine and I quite like it.

The texture is waterly

the gel was absorbed quickly

This is not bad but my only question is I didnt find any difference on my face.so what's the result actually Shall I see?

Or may be it just doesnt show on my skin much?

I feel that Clarins skin care are normally give a bit or no obvios results to my skin.

I may not buy their skin care in the future but I do like their cosmetics~~even thou I dont own one :P

Just some thoughts to share.

The prices are affordable, not too expensive.

coleslaw, I don't eat this.....

their whipped potato is quite special. totally different from KFC's. a lot of spices used for this dish

cheese cake, not bad. but too small for me&my sis to share~~

the chicken were not good, I prefer KFC's
The biscuit(?) was too powdery and I don't like it

I had never been to Popeye for the second time as I don't need to since the food is just so so....

Just a shrt post after a long break~
This L'occitane shower gel is very common to be seen in their value sets or free gifts.

I like this a lot as it is really travel friendly~
The scent is quite strong but not over which I felt calm after showering with it.

the design of the tap make it tight and the size is adorable.

The only bad thing I hate this is that it can't be refilled.

Choose either throw it or keep it after finishing the shower gel. what a waste....

the facial cotton I used before had a common problem: leaving wool on the face.

this was really annoying.
until one day, I read other blogs and knew there were a lot of better/good cottons that will not leave wool on the face.

this was the third facial cotton I tried which was not leaving anything but toner on my face~

ettusais patting cotton.

It was RM14 for a box of 60. quite pricey.

It even showed us the correct way to use the cottons.

the cotton. very big piece.
one cotton is already enough for me to remove my heavy waterproof eye make up.

I really like this cotton as it did its job perfectly!
After trying the cotton from TBS, Yokoso Japan and etude house,
I must say this is the best~

However, this is also the most expensive.
I saw a Taiwan blogger introduce a cotton like this where she bought in Taiwan's Watson.
I did not notice the price and volume but I guess, tat would be cheaper than this.

Cons:

dos not leave wool on the face
very big
nice absorption of liquid
nice packing
good quality

Pros:

a bit pricey compare to some brands
only available at ettusais, Isetan

will I repurchase it?

yes, If they mark down the price or increase the volume.
or when there are no other cottons can impress me.

A birthday luch @ Michealangelo @ Pavilion

It was my birthday. We made it at pavilion as I attended a workshop nearby in the morning.

We chose Michealangelo because of my love for the master pieces...

There was not much customer dining here for lunch and the design was a bit special.
There was a bar right in the middle of the shop

As for inside, you could see a lot of sculptures on the wall.

The kitchen was just beside us. It was an open kitchen.

One thing I did not like here was the utensils.
Look carefully and you could see many scratches on the spoons.
This is so disgusting!!!!!

Our meals:

some kind of chicken with sauce( I can hardy remember the name now...)

this was so so

spaghetti with beef

this was nice! I don't like beef but I like this!

mushroom soup

too little but nice too~ very good. must try!!!

These are what I can remember now about the lunch. I had not return for another dine in after that because there are still a lot of restaurant to try out there~

bought these cupcakes from a shop at The Gardens,Mid Valley.
3cupcakes cost me RM28
looked very nice~~

can you see the thick layer between the cake and icing?
it's a THICK layer of CREAM!!!!!!

I was not sure when I ate the first cupcakes but when I looked at the second and third, I was pretty sure .

How could people put a thick layer of cupcake just to smooth the surface so they could decorate it with icing???

It was really disgusting and I threw away the cream.

can anyone imagine how small the cake was so they had to insert a thick layer of cream so the cupcake fit the cup?

I paid RM28 for something like these??!!
It was the most unworthy money I spent!!!

I am sure that I will never ever go back to the shop for their cupcakes!!!!!!! yuck~

It was the same day with origin event "be the change".

Before the event started, I visited Elianto's booth in front of Jusco. they were having promotion.

I like Elianto's nail polish because it is cheap and have a big variety of colours.

I made a purchese of nail polish above RM100 and I was given a free make up and A4 photo.

There were onsale but the discount I got was different from the discount stated in the booklet....

Here is a brief review of the Elianto Ginseng Moisturizing Cream.
It came in a long but thin tube.

The texture was smooth and a bit watery.

However, I did not finish it and it was my first time being so watefu by throwing away something when it was still full.
I am not a person who like to waste if you know me but I could hardly bear with the plastic-like scent of this cream!!!!!

There was no Ginseng scent but a very very strong plastic smell!!!
I asked otheres to tell me what was the smell and the answers were the same : plastic-like!!!!!!!
I dared not to apply it on my face ad discarded it while it was still full.....

I would rather wasted it... Who know if there would be redness/pathcess/allergic caused?

The conclusion: I will never ever buy any face products from Elianto...

I wonder if there are people liking their face products os anyone had the same experince???

just a simple french manicure(wanted to test the Anna Sui's nail lacquer)

I went to the last beauty expo months ago because I got a free invitation card from his mum's friend. I went on the last day,Monday.

There were many people Q-ing at the ticket counter,luckily I could redeem my free pass at the trader counter.^^ saved some times....

There were still crowded in the halls.... I got nothing to buy but looking around to find some good deals. The sales/bargains did not attract me as they gave discount only if you purchased many.

their targets were the make-up artists/ nail-art artists....

The best deal was the free goodies bag given by Yokoso Japan. There was a pack of samples including cleanser, moisturizers, masks, firming gels, scrubs.....

I saw the beauty diary mask and I found they were quite expensive compare to the prices I got online and I skipped this.

I wanted to get a nu-bra but the sizes left were A-cup and D-cup only...so bad.

I saw the "sister" magazine and there was promotion which you bought 2 for only RM15 + some free gifts... So I bought.

the free gifts including lip gloss, eye shadow, pouch with mirror, powder, samples of Bio-essence and Rilax and some vouchers.

As for the gifts came with magazines were sample of L'aneige sleeping mask , "Trend" and a Watson active firming mask.

I did not stay long because I had nothing to buy since the deals were not really impressing me...
I would say this is not a good expo for those who don't earn their earning with/ consume a lot if these products. The beauty expo at KLCC is a better place for us to visit .

warehouse news + haul

Went to three warehouse sales today as I got half day off today.

1.Benefit warehouse sale

First, I went to the Benefit warehouse sales at Menara Millenium. I reached about 2pm and there was only little crowd and also very little products to grab.

I got nothing for myself but two items for my sister : Lemon Aid and Just In Case.
Total spending: RM 110.

For every RM100 you spent, you were entitled for a sample.
The items were quite chep and worth but really not much choices. Just some eyeshadows,lippies,foundations, mascaras and brow pencils.

I was just so lucky to find Just In Case. It contained mini eyecon, benetint, california kissing and some kind-a-gorgeous.RM65 is reasonable for my thought.

Overall,I think there should be more products in the morning but since it would be very crowded,I do not recommend you to go in the early morning if you are not going to grab a lot Also,it's a waste of time if you have nothing to buy.

2.Branded fragrance and cosmetics warehouse sale

I had been at the Benefit's sale for less than one hour and I knew I had time for next stop at Armada Hotel. Off I went to spy at the warehouse sale.

I reached there at 2++pm and there was not much people but not little too. At least there was no Q outside the ballroom.

I had been to this sale last year and I was one of the earliest. I grabbed some cheap items so I planned to come back this year.Ｉreally like the Paul and Joe's packing so my first stop was the P and J's counter.

Many products such as eyeliners,some face colours were gone very soon. I still managed to grab the nail kit,

limited edition eye shadows，
a nail polish
and a cleansing milk.

The prices were very satisfactory this year for P and J．As for Givenchy, There was nothing special and the prices were not really that nice for my thought so I ended buying P and J only. The fragrances counters were crowded and I am not so addicted to fragrance so I just walked one round and head to the cashier without taking any perfumes/gift sets.

I spent RM332 here but some of them are for my sister.
It's worth going If you used those perfumes and or cosmetics because they were really cheap for some of them.

Tips:

Do not bring any bag.
Do bring your own recycle bags to reduce the use of plastic bags(I forgot this today...)
Avoid going at peak hours so you don't need to Q and waste your time and energy. Unless you wanted something special that will be sold off fast.
Do check online or at the counter for what you want so you saved time in picking and asking.

3. Lovely Lace

After the branded warehouse sale, I went to One Utama(1U) for Lovely Lace shopping.
They are having sales at the Bargain until this Sunday.

There were not many choices but if you are looking for Christmas decorations/gifts, they have some cheap and budget products. Some are 3 for RM10, some are merely RM5 each while some are discounting up to 70%!!!

I bought a lot for only RM83 and since I am OneCard member, I was entitle for free gift~

What a steal!!!

I got the cheap things and I got the free gift too! For non-OneCard member, you will get the free gift too if you purchase more than RM100. RM50 for OneCard member! Hey, which is more worth?　

I bought some gifts for friends and family and I am happy to save so much in gifts!
They are selling their aroma therapy oils but with only 10% off. Still a good deal of you like them or are using them and wanna restock.

Finally, I had done all my warehouse shopping today and I walked in the mall until I came to the Acca Kappa. I remembered that they are actually having promotion now and I really wanna try their brushes. So I went into the shop.

The SA was very nice,friendly and helpful. She asked me to try their brushes in the store so I could experience them. I tried all the promotional and non-promotional brushes. The results were satisfactory and good.

After some introductions and recommendations, I had finally bought the brush 353 and 960 and I got the free travel size brush of 960 .

I pay only RM250 for these three brushes . It was a steal too~~ I did the calculation earlier when I knew this promotion and I knew I'm gonna buy them!

In order to be their VIP, I bought 2 more lip balm with SPF to hit RM300. I will be having discount in the future purchase.

They have the gift sets for Christmas now but mostly soaps/perfumes/shower gel/lotion. If you like their shower range,it's time to stock up!!

review : YSL powder foundation.sample + giveaway @plussizekitten

I got this sample from YSL, Robinsons.
It was my first time visiting YSL and I really liked their service.
I got a voucher and purchased one item with just paying additional RM1 and I got a few samples.
The SA was really nice ang generous in giving out samples, unlike some SA out there, giving samples like taking their salary, give only one or two.
I will definitely going back to them in future~

Here is one of the sample I got, a pressed powder foundation sample.

The packing is normal, but the colour of the packing is metallic gold which makes the sample looks luxurious. (my feeling)

The moment I took this photo was the moment I finished it, so............

The SA did not check carefully if this shade matched with my skin tone but luckily, it matched!!

I took it during my Bali trip without other foundations. Its samll and light packing saved a lot of spaces!

Its texture is fine and smooth.
No irritating smell.
medium coverage.
comes with sponge(what a cute little sponge)

It is perfect if mirror is attached in it. I know it's hard as this is just a sample....

Conclusion:
Due to the good quality of the product + good service of the SA + so many freebies, I will go back to YSL for more shopping. Their radiant touch is one of the ht seller and it is having promotion now!! (Parkson Pavilion)

choose a nice base colour, make sure it is mathced with the stickers going to stick on

It had been a looooooooong time after the workshop.

It was a FREE workshop namely "Power to Try", specially for miu's readers, held at Wisma Amoda.

review : the DIY mask sheet frm Yokoso Japan

Bought the sheet masks from Yokoso Japan, in 1u.

It was cheap, RM9.90 for 100pcs included another eyes sheets.

However, After trying the Daiso's and this, I just think that this is cheap, nothing really nice.

The sheet was very big and non-sticky so it could easily fall down.

I redeemed the shiseido samples at Parkson,Sg. Wang a couple weeks ago with the coupon cut from Cleo magazine.

Here are what I got :

Did it myself:

apply blue,better dark blue as base colour. two coats
choose the silver colour which leaves the star effect and apply on upper part of the nails. two coats
top coat

My first time at T.G.I Friday with these and something else....

Went back twice but didn't really like the foodanymore,esp the Fish & Chip... lousy~

Price was not cheap but they are having promotion now.RM29.90 for an appertizer+an entree.

They have free flow carbonated drinks~

Portions are big and a girl like me can't finish an entree with appertizer.

Nothing impressed me except for their celebration surprise~

really nice and surprised! Get friends there if they'd never been there and remember it must be someone's birthday so you get to see the surprise~

Not planning of going there again for some times....
