Tried and Finished

  • Vaseline Body Lotion (VBL)
I am a big fan of VBL. Whenever I traveled, I would definitely check the prices in local drug stores and bought some if it is cheaper than Malaysia's.

It's not only cheap, and also smell good and moisture enough for my skin. Love Love Love VBL!!!!

Colgate Plax Mukti Protection Mouth Wash

This was a free gift from local drug store and I like it for its small bottle which is travel friendly. Wasn't really a fan of any mouth wash but I think sometimes we just need one for better oral health.

Naruko Apple Seed & Tranexamic Acid Sootjing White Hydra Essence

I don't really think this essence really help as I,and people around me couldn't tell if I became fairer after using it. Perhaps t helped but the result was not obvious. hahaha....

It's a drug store brand so the price is reasonable. If it is on sale/promotion, still worth to take home.

L'oreal Professionnel Paris Shine Curl Nutriplus Shampoo

I got it during L'oreal warehouse sale. Cheap but only small bottles available when I arrived. I like the small bottle as it is cute but same with other shampoo, it did not really give obvious changes to my hair after finishing two bottles of it. It did no harm as well~

Wonder when can I find a shampoo that works well on me......

Acca Kappa Lip Balm

Bought this like 2/3 years ago around Christmas. It is totally not recommended!!!

The lip balm itself works wise, just like all the lip balm out there but the very big problem of this is that the lip balm itself is really really soft that once u touch it, it bends! That's why the tube is soooooooo dirty and oily. The cap became easily fall out as well.

Besides, it is white in colour which is not suitable to use it alone. It made me look sick!!
I had to spread it with my finger again after application and put on a lipstick so I wouldn't look sick.

I am glad I had finally finished two of them and I will never ever ever get this again!! For lower/the same price, I can have easier apply and non-visible lip balm from any brands.

Naruko Raw job's Tear Whitening Night Gelly
A very moisture moisturizer. I used it as a sleeping mask when air-conditioner was turned on.

Did not really see the result it claimed on the bottle but I care less. I was only looking for hydrating sleeping mask. It did not last the whole night but I don't see any bads~

Worth to get if it is on sale/promotion.

Naruko Tea Tree Oil Out Night Gelly

Got this together with Naruko Raw job's Tear Whitening Night Gelly when I travelled to Taiwan. Smells like Tea Tree and I love the scent.

Used as sleeping mask as well and hydrating enough.

Both Naruko Raw job's Tear Whitening Night Gelly and Naruko Tea Tree Oil Out Gelly come with a spatula. I like using spatula when it is a tube. for hygenie purpose

review- bits of this and that

  • Watson active firming stretchable mask
I got this as a gift for purchasing magazines in the book fair, i guess. Can't remember...

this mask is good as it comes in two sheets, top and bottom. I have always hated sheet masks as it is quite troublesome to apply them on the mask without letting the liquid to drip. two sheet masks don't normally have the problem

Result was wise as i'm no sensitive nor allergy skin type.

It is not considered cheap just like all the masks in Malaysia. Worth a try if it's on sale

  • Pineapple mask
This is also a gift but can't remember from where did I get it....

nothing special or impress about it.... no comment

  • Elianto Ginseng Moisturizing Cream
This is a gift from Elianto during their fair in Mid Valley years ago..
I used it on the same day I got it or may be one or two days later...
This is the product that caused me stop shopping from Elianto.
It's a GIFT but it was expired !!!
I couldnt sure about that when I first used but I was sure there was something wrong about the cream as it smelled like PLASTIC!! a very strong plastic-smell !

I was wondering why but I didn't want to waste it si I gave it a second try.
It failed me again with the strong plastic smell that I decided to throw it immediately!

Thank god I did that because a few days later, I consulted some beauticians and all of them told me this was because the product was expired and that's the smell it released!!!

thank you Elianto for being so generous to give out all those expired products free to your customers!!! I spent on your products and this was how you treated your customers???
Disappointed!!!!!

I had never ever get anything from Elianto ever since then

simple cute roses

Did this myself:
  1. base colour, preferably light colour
  2. get at least a pink and white for the roses. I used 3colours: 2 differrent pinks and white
  3. put dome pink dots on nails as prefer, and make them different in sizes
  4. put white dot on it, follow by another pink if u like to
  5. using a sharp tool, eg: ruler,pen,pencil,toothpick...  quickly do some circling movements on the dots but keep the centre rose-like.
  6. as for some nails, u can do different style like applying stickers or just apply some stripes on it as in my pictures.
  7. dont forget to draw some leave using q-tips or anything sharp on the nails for better results
  8. top coat~
* make sure the dots are not too thick or roses don't look nice

Tried and Finished

What I had tried and finished:

  • Biore make up remover
it's like Shu Uemura's famous make up remover, oil base and is able to remove heavy eyes make up.
however, this product irritated my eyes and therefore, I used it only for face.
something I won't repurchase as it is not worth the value if I am using for only the face.

  • L'oreal Elseve Damage Care  Shampoo
I believe many people used or are using this range of shampoo/conditioner. I bought them only because there were on sale and were extremely cheap! the result was only normal, nothing shocked or impressive.

  • Pantene daily leave on conditioner
This range is the cheapest drug store brands I could find in Malaysia. What I love it is the really low price and the honeydew/melon scent it has. the hair was smooth and moisture when product was applied but The smoothness didn't last long. may be it was due to my hair's condition or the bad quality of the product. Couldn't tell but it's a really money-saver leave on condition.

  • Nivea Sun Block SPF30 PA++
This is the best and cheapest waterproof sun block available in drug stores, especially when it is on sale.
Good for all kinds of outdoor/water activities. Won't cost you a fortune to be a Snow White while spending the day outside or by the beach.
It does have that kind of waterproof sun block smell but I don't mind as long as it keeps me fair throughout the day outside/by the beach.
