travel- Shangri-la hotel Putrajaya, Selangor, M'sia

It was hari raya aidilfitri holiday 2013. We visited Shangri-la Putrajaya.

 the sign beside the road

It was on the hill and the sign clearly tell u the destination.
car parks were just too far from the entrance that i had to do check in while he parked the car.
I did not take photo at the reception as I was so hot and angry for they checked in another couple who came later than me. But one good thing about this hotel is they check all guests in while both are sitting!!!! awesome. never had I seen any 5-star hotel provide this service before. This would be the reason I wan to come back.

The hotel is very big , seperated in two side buildings connecting to the main building in the middle where cafe and reception are.

our room was deluxe park view.
the first thing i went into it was playing with their wardorbe's door and bathroom's/ it was creatively and nicely designed. the wardrobe was well-equipped with extra drawers where u can store shoes, bags and almost everthing!!  what a shame i did not snap photos.... >(

the king size bed with vintage head board

one thing i dont like is there's no LED flat screen in the room but the big and heavy outdated tv set.....
luckily it can be moved so i could enjoy show in the bath tub.
the day bed and the outdated tv in the tv cabinet
the sliding door that connected the room and bathroom.

 shangri-la toiletries
the bath room was another place i love as it was big and bright, separated shower, toilet and bath tub!
what's best, they provide a huge space with large mirror and stool and shaving mirror for me(oh yea~) to finish my facial routine and also to put on my make up!!it's like a separated vanity room. that's never exist  in any hotel I had visited so far.

i love the multi-function study desk as well. they store the hair dryer and mirror below the table.close it when u r not using them. it's like ikea design but im not sure if ikea has anything like this....

some pics in the hotel

we visited the pool but did not jump in as it was too hot and very small.... looked crowded though there were less than 10 people.
balcony was dirty so we did not enjoy our breakfast there as planned.. :(

our in-room self-bought hi tea XD
another plus point is they serve basic utensils in the room. love~

there are still a very huge space to improve for this hotel to make it up to the grade else, it would not be attracting more tourists or locals to stay in it.
and It's not decorated in the way I like but there are others to attract me to come back to this hotel.
however, not in short as Putrajaya can be a boring place if one is not visiting the government buildings and parks.

our lunch in Alamanda( too  early that many shops were still closed) before heading to K.L
