travel- The Pearl of Asia~Hong Kong

had a trip to HK in 2012.... cant tell much about it because I was too tired to walk around and most time spent in the hotel.
I didn't have a good impression of HK during my trip. Simply because of the people were too rude, arrogant, uncivilized.....
some tips are:
  • there are lots of cheap beauty products in HK
  • the food charged way too high for a small potion
  • rude people everywhere
  • rushing people everywhere
  • the nicest Portuguese tart found here(better Macau's)
  • don't speak Mandarin or they thought you are from China
  • good public transport system
  • hardly find sauce especially if you are eating Dim Sum
  • it is clean in HK
I can't agree with the life and the people in HK, can't get use to it, can't be part of it.
If I ever return, that's only because I'm shopping for cheap stuffs.

 cheap nail stickers in Sasa

Dim Sum treated by hubby's cousin

The most meals we had was in fast food restaurants

Haul- Taiwan Nov 2012

My third trip to Taiwan which was the most expensive one, because:
  • followed trip
  • spent extra on souvenirs
  • bought too many masks!!!!!

Bought :

  • hundreds of masks of different brands because they were so much cheaper than Malaysia's
  • Auto Umbrellas which can open and close with only a button with cute pictures on them
  • Accessories rack from Daiso (It is cheaper to shop in Daiso in Taiwan)
  • Ginger Tea Pack
  • Cotton buds from Daiso
  • Facial cotton from Daiso
  • Tampon ( there were so many different types and brands to be chosen in Taiwan)
  • H/P ear plugs with cute design
  • Majolica Majorca lemon grass nail polish
  • face masks from Daiso
  • honey
  • Antiseptic Wet Tissue from Watson with very cheap price(clearance)
  • 4 bottles of make up oil remover from Watson ( brand: Softimo)
  • 3 bottles of Biore face sunscreen (cheaper than Malaysia's)
  • Art and craft postcards as souvenir
  • Opal 1-minute hair treatment (6 tubes, recommended by a friend)
  • Kanebo make up base from Watson ( 3 different shades)
  • Cable collectors (4 pcs) from Daiso
  • Sally Hansen top and base coat (2 bottles)
  • stickers from Daiso
  • a gift exchanged in 7-11
  • coffee which came with a beautiful cup pad
  • some cookies/biscuits as souvenirs
  • a cheap but nice legging
..............................
and some used or finished or eaten stuff which I can't remember anymore
I must say Taiwan is a shopping paradise and a wonderful country to be visited even if  you are travelling alone....
I had never expected three visits but I did!!!!

Review- Tried and Finished (AS)

Anna Sui cosmetic and skin care products that had been tried and finished (only one didn't)~

  • AS Loose Compact Powder G ( RM 100++)
It is very handy and good for travelling. But it is a shimmer powder so not really suitable for daily use.
It comes with AS famous rosew scent which may annoy some people.
It comes with only one colour, so do test before purchasing.
There's a hole at the bottom of the case and you can just buy a refil powder to save some money... Im wondering if it is discontinued...

  • AS Dolly Girl Lip Gloss (RM 70++)
I have all 3 shades but only this is finished.
The gloss has very light colour but long lasting texture, if you dont eat and drink.
There are sparkling stars in the gloss which made it good for dinner/clubbing wear. I love those stars~~

  • AS Limited Edition Christmas Lip Gloss 2010
This lip gloss is really special for it's design: with Anna words in it and also its applicator was not sponge, but a flat plastic head.
I like the applicator but I really couldn't stand the scent of this gloss. It was way too strong and I was pregnant, became sensitive to scent.
I gave it out without finishing it.
