dinner @ L.table

  I had lunch with my bestie at LoTable last time and the environment was nice.

Then, I dined here again to celebrate his birthday with friends.

The environment was nice and quiet. The food was not so bad but not very good that one must die for.(XP)

and the price was just like other restaurant, not something I would say cheap nor expensive.

Just sharing some pictures here.

I tried their hi-tea set last time. The plate was in L-shape which is creative. The bakeries served were not so bad, but I prefer Delicious hi-tea set.

1. Beaubelle Brightening Cleasing Exfoliator

  Got this from Fabulous Find Beauty Box last year. Not the best exfoliator used but not the worst too, The particles inside were tiny and quite smooth. 

  Not my preference.

  

2. Beaubelle Multi Defence Total Protection

Came with Fabulous Find  Beauty Box last year. There was nothing special about this.

  

3. Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum

I have fair skin, considering I'm a Malaysian Chinese. There is hardly any whitening serum or moisturizer that really impress me. I like Shiseido but this is not really giving me any obvious result. 

But I like their bottle. Looked really good and pretty.

  

4. Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Mild Milk

Since few years ago I tried my very first bottle of Sunplay sunscreen, I fell in love with it and had used up of more than 10 bottles of different types of the sunscreen!

It's always waterly and scentless, though it is not waterproof. I used to use waterproof sunscreen as I sweated a lot during school years. I stopped using them after then and found Sunplay sunscreens are good for the light texture and light scent. 

However, the prices of Sunplay Sunscreens in Malaysia had been given an unreasonable increment. I stopped buying them and only refill when I'm travelling oversea. 

I'm looking for replacement. Biore is under my survey and research now.

  

5. Paul and Joe Eye Gloss

 I bought this with at least 5 different colours during their sale at Isetan. They were really cheap.

Eye gloss can be used as eye base or eye shadow. I used them as eye base. this is peachy orange which is closed to Asians skin tone, but not mine. It is way darker than my skin. It is good to be used as eye base as it helps the eye make up to last longer.

I bought silvery white, dreamy purple, glittery brown and golden yellow together with this. I had used up the golden yellow and peachy orange at the time of blogging. Am using the silvery white and dreamy purple now. 

Though it is good as eye base, there is this very bad part of this eye gloss which is the sponge applicator can fall off VERY EASILY from the stick! BAD Enough huh? How are we going to get the eye gloss without the applicator??

So I took the stirrer from Mr. M restaurant to replace the applicator. It was not handy but that's the only long stick which fit the tube I could find..... 

I am not going to re-purchase this for the applicator's sake

  

[travel] Kuching,Sarawak, M'sia

It was a free trip for a package we signed up. Flew with firefly and the destination was Borneo Highland, Kuching. 

   

Borneo Highland is a property under The Mines. Kinda far from Kuching town, about 1+hour. It is like Fraser hill in Pahang, except it is more undeveloped. 

  

Borneo Highland is a total nature and relaxing place, regardless the faded resort, everything was not so bad. 

It was cool and refreshing at Borneo Highland. There was only nature here, a big field, some nurseries(cannot remember what they had because we did not visit any).

This post is not meant to focus on Borneo Highland, let's keep it till next time.

After one night in Borneo Highland Resort(BHR), we decided to leave the place as we found it uncomfortable.

So we called a relative of him and voila~ We were on our way to Kuching town!!

We had only oone night and one day left.

We went to this famous Kuching waterfront where you can see Astana on the same night we left BHR.

Here at waterfront, you can see activities/event held time to time. and it is always many people( but not crowded).  Here is a picture of a native of Sarawak performing with their traditional instrument. I couldn't help but stopped to listen until he pulled me away.

   

 There are some famous international hotel near waterfront: Hilton, Pullman........

The locals love to play or stroll or hang out here at night.
There are some river cruises here from the morning till evening. not sure about the price .... we missed them.
Also, there are bazaars along the river, not many so they are not annoying~

There are also a lot of heritage buildings and streets around waterfront. Just get off or park your car here, and get ready to explore the history of Sarawak !

On the next day, before heading to the famous Sadok market, we had our breakfast here, Coffee 'o' Corner.
It is located on the way to Sadok market but not sure about the exact location....

Pantene Clinicare Hair Time Renewal

It was new when I bought this. Came in a box of 12 if I'm not mistaken. 

It did make my hair smooth, but not lasting. I had really dried out hair ends and for all the products I used, only one did smooth my hair for a short time but none last!!!

I don't like the cap. It is kinda hard to tear off, especially for me. but I like the tube. It is small so easy to bring along for traveling. 

Comparing to all the drug store brands, the price is considered high. If it works on you, worth it. If it doesn't,  never go back to it.

   

Dove Damage Therapy

I had few bottles of this hair conditioner . It doesn't really work on me but it is cheap and comes in a large tube! Save cost since I have no confident in these hair things anymore.

Just a normal conditioner . Nothing really work or doesn't work for me. 

   

The Body Shop (TBS) Coconut Shower Cream

Got this and TBS Mango Shower Gel during year end sale last time. I think it's RM 35 for two. 

Cream doesn't lather so I ended up using too much of the shower cream and finished very fast. What a waste! 

The scent is acceptable ,for me. I love the coconut smell. It can be irritating for some. 

   

L'occitane Dry and Damaged Conditioner

I always love L'occitane dry and damaged hair care collection. Totally in love with the scent!!!! Smell soooooooo good that I kept on playing with my hair. I was always happy or in a good mode when I used the collection. 

However, this collection doesn't do a good job. My hair was smooth during shower, but frizzy and dry when it was dried........ 

Still, I love the scent and will definitely purchase the collection again... 
But they are pricey, so..... ...

   

  

Lancome Primordiale Cell Defense

Got it during a L'oreal warehouse sale. Lancome is always pricey, even in a warehouse sale but I decided to give it a try.

Perhaps my tissue was just too stable or what, all these serums/essences did not rally give much changes/result to me, at least non-visible.

I felt nothing, nor people around felt anything different on my face after using it.....@@

        

   

Skin Food Seaweed Waterproof Point Make-up Remover Tissue

I got this sample during my last haul at Skin Food.

This is easy to use, and convenient to be carried around. 

There was oil on the tissue, I ended with an oily hands after using it.
It did it job well. As Remover tissue can be found anywhere, no much surprise it gave me. 

My advise is: compare with different brands before purchasing for an effective and cheap remover tissue. I do not know the price of this but should be a bit higher than drug store brands'.
