review- shu uemura + clarins

As I do not have sensitive face, I seldom have breakouts or unsuitable skincare problems.

For all these samples I tried, none of them caused me breakouts, uncomfortable or irritated me.

         
Clarins Beauty Flash Balm                                                                                                                           

I like this balm because it is convenient to be used. I could hardly notice changes on my face even though I did not have enough sleep on the nights before as the SA promised. The SA told me this would give my face a fresh, shinny, energetic look after applying.

What I like about it is it is a good moisturizer to prepare your skin for applying make up. it moisturized


Clarins Shaping Facial Lift




                                                                     
    I had a big round face. Nothing(except plastic surgery) can change it, not even by just trying to lift it.
This cream let me down but it's ok, I never really did hope it will make my face small.

                                                                                                                 
Clarins Hydra Quench smoothing gel

It's been a long time I Used it. It was hydrating and moisturized my face. However, none of Clarins products ever surprised me or impressed me so I have no plan going back to Clarins in short future.

Shu Uemura

Shu Uemura is famous of the cosmetics but I started to use its skin care products first.
I had tried a t least two sets of skin care from two different ranges,green(forgot what's the range)  and blue-deepsea range.

Shu's skin cares had never really done much work on my face as I said, I don't have a sensitive face and therefore, I can hardly see the differences of each result. What I know is the products did not break me out, that's all.

I had already changed to other brands simply because it is too expensive to keep using Shu's products. I am saving for some other usages. :)

I love to bring their sachets during vacation because a sachet contains a generous portion of products which can be used up to 4~6 times(depends on the amount you use each time).

I am not sure if I will go back to them in the future but not for this year,at least.~

Bought it a while ago

Dislike :

• does not give volume

• pricey ,compare o my fav mascara
  

I will not purchase it again as I can get better mascara with lower price

It was a busy Tuesday but i still made my way to shu uemura's shu fanatic party @ 1u .


It was a products launching exclusively for invited members and I couldn't believe that I was so lucky to be invited.


There was a door gift given when you entered. The girl helping was the artist I met during the RMK workshop~~~forgot her name...aiks

As I was told, for purchasing RM250 and above, you were entitled or about 5pc free gift + a free customized necklace made by yourself. Tools and materials were provided. Besides, a party should be served with some F&B and some tips also~~

Then,Frederick Ng, Accredited Artist and Chief Make Up artist of Shu Uemura gave a mini demo on how to apply their autumn cosmetics.

There was a lady asking question and took me as example. Then, I was asked to be the model. So lucky me?

What Frederick showed was the thick eyeliner. I have inner eyelid and look like single eyelid. Thus, Frederick said all eyes like me need very thick eyeliner so it can be seen. The result:

Tips from Frederick:

• dab the`eyeshadow so the colours show & do not fall easily

• to curl the eyelashes, make sure the curler is placed from up to down

• to put on false eyelash, move it from up to down too

• put the mirror at least 45 degree below u to curl the eyelashes & to put on mascara
  
• draw thicker eyeliner if you have single eyelids/ inner eyelids
  
• you may apply the blusher from the end of the eyes to the cheek for dinner/night make up
  
• get your eyebrows trimmed to look prettier
  
• practices make perfect!!!
  
  
  After all, I enjoyed this party very much.
  Was wanting to make purchase but i forgot to bring along the $$... XD
  
  Hope that I'll get more opportunities to attend this kind of "party" ~~ ^^

review: Shu Uemura Phyto Black-lift eye and lip contour cream

I received some samples of the Shu Uemura Phyto black-lift anti-wrinkle eye and lip contour cream last time.
I opened two sachets and put them in a container. Even though it's for eyes and lips, I used only for my eyes.

The eye cream and the container gave by a friend~

The product's description from Shu's website

The texture was very creamy but not sticky. Not smell and white in colour.
A little was already enough for two eyes.
dab around the eyes and smooth very lightly and follow with the massage as suggested.

This is a very good product as I found that it reduced the puffiness under my eyes.
It's also save a lot as a little product would do the job very well.

It is retailing RM180 for 5g. It's not cheap but depends on how you use it and if it works for you. I was so lucky got to try this~
Will consider to purchase the full size when I finished my current eye cream~
But RM180 for only 5g, I really need think carefully...
