Free workshop from Clarins - Power To Try

It had been a looooooooong time after the workshop.

sorry 'cos the laptop was under repair..... Just got my photos back~~ XD

It was a FREE workshop namely "Power to Try", specially for miu's readers, held at Wisma Amoda.

Refreshments and goodies bag were FREE too~

They taught the step-by-step hands on skin care.

We did :

1. cleansed & toned
2. peel-off mask
3. toned
4. mask of your choice
5. toned
6. facial lift
7. sun block
8. moisturizer

more or less, these were what we did.

The whole session was really fun. We did learn a lot about Clarins and the products.

This workshop was given the mittens to wipe off the excess residue on face because they were no running water. my first time seeing this...

make up workshop by ettusais @ Isetan Lot 10

RM90 for a skincare + make up workshop is not high.

However if the workshop is bad/ unorganized/having bad refreshments& services then, RM90 is considered as HIGH!!!
Luckily it was fully redeemable...

That's what I had in my mind after attending attusais workshop @Isetan, Lot10.

I bought the voucher about a week ago and I was a bit late to the workshop.
The SA called to remind me & I just realized I did not know the venue so I asked.

It was my fault for not asking the venue before. Besides, they put the floor mat at the escalators which were going up. I was heading down and I couldn't see them. Stupid me!!!


The space was covered by curtains(as doors) and it was big. The attendents in my session could not even filled a table!!

I was the first to reach and was seated and waited for other participants.

Items on the table(each got a set like this):mirror,brouchers,tissue,cottons,tools

They were all late and finally, the workshop started with less than 10 participants. why was it so..... little people?
I had no idea and I was not sure if they bought the vouchers but did not want to attend?



This was the least participants workshop I had ever attended.(except for Anna Sui's free workshop)

The SA started with greetings ,then she was just following the slides and just standing there beside the laptop, giving some emotionless & bit attractive introduction about ettusais products.

She was really lack of training, presenting skills and confident , I thought.

The worst presentation of all!!!



Then, a girl asked to be model and the hands on session started.



The skincares were not on the table and we had to wait for the SA to pour onto our hands.

Removing make up, cleansing & toning were ok.



There were only less than 8 people with 2 SAs.
Items should be passing around fast. However, they kept letting others waited for a long time to get the products.

sometime,I was almost done but they were some people still not started yet!

Bad service and management!


For facian part, we tried :

• remover


• cleanser


• toner


• moisturizer


• peeling mask


• eye gel


• sun screen

tips:

• make sure the peeling mask is smoothed properly so it can peel off easily.


• do not apply too thick, or tooo thin of the peeling mask


• peel the mask from side at the bottom( of the direction upwards)

After applying sun screen, make up demo started~

• tinted eye essense ( which was the door gift too)


• concealer


• eyeshadow


• eyeliner


• eyebrow


• blusher


• lip gloss

There was no special tips or products of ettusais and we were just left to play ourselves after demo done. The SAs would help when you asked for help.

They were actually quite helpful but they were not trained well to handle a workshop thus, some messiness occurred and made me felt bad.

There were nobody using another table but the cosmetics were left on it while we were all here sharing onbly one or two of each product.
Why did you waste everyone's time??? It's really annoying.

Some of the cosmetics were finished/dried up but we still had to use them.

Trying to voice out but with so little SAs, nobody could ever help. If one of them went to get new one, there will be only one SA left serving about 6~8 of us.

I must say that this ws the worst workshop I had ever been to.

If they never improved, they will never get more participants or new customers as they wished.

Finally, the refreshment time~~

When the SA passed to me, I was like :" What the ........???!!!!"

There were only a cup of tea and a puff!!!!

I know the budget may not be enough but each got a puff from b.p was soooooooo not nice!!

The refreshment was not displaying nicely on a table but to serve on paper plate & cup.

Each participant got one set.

I am not sure if you can ask for more, but dare you to??

Well, at least they took out a bowl of tiny sweets on each table.

I grabbed some and left quickly~~

I redeemed their whitening tissue mask and a box of cotton.

The vitamin C whitening mask was packed 7 x 15ml per pack, cost RM 89

The cotton was packed in 60 pieces per box, cost RM14.

So I paid the balance of RM13 and I was eligible for FREE parking for first 3(maybe 4) hours because I am Isetan Card Member (IMC)~~

FREE mini make up workshop by Anna Sui@ Isetan,KLCC

SO, I attended the Free Anna Sui mini workshop at Isetan KLCC on a Monday.


I was late and there were only me and another girl,Carmen for this session.She was the model...




It was Grace who gave speech & demo, she had a pair of big eyes >>>>




First, intoduction to the products, especially the foundations :powder & liquid.



Then, demo ~~

The steps Grace followed:

1. spray the mist to moisture the face
2. apply make up base, follow by liquid foundation and powder.
3. conceal where necessary
4. Carmen had defined eyebrow and Grace just skipped them
5. touch up wherever needed before proceeding
6. apply eye gloss as premier
7. apply eyeshadow, Grace used the new eye colour which was the shimmer purple
8. draw eyeliner and curl eye lashes
9. aaply mascara of volume on upper lashes but full on lower lashes
10. apply face colour and finish with lipstick

But it was just a demo, I didn't really have the time to play the produsts with my hands~

I am hoping for other better workshop from Anna Sui.

I was at Isetan Lot10 and accidentally passed by ettusais counter and after making some purchases, the SA told me about this workshop.

RMK workshop

Thanks to Miu, I attended the RMK workshop at the Apartment,KLCC on 1 august'09.

I had been eying on their make up base and liquid foundation for a long time as they were the hot products in Japan some years ago. I wished to try here and see if their suited me~

Every steps were simple and common, which I believe most of the girls know if u like to be beautiful.

1. If you had make up on the face, remove the eyes & lips with eyes & lips make up remover.
2. Followed by cleansing milk to remove face make up.
3. toner & moisturizer(eye gel).
4. apply face protector(sun block).
5. make up base
6. foundation(the speaker said RMK's foundation will become powder texture after applying onto the face.therefore, no need loose powder after this.)
7. eye shadow base
8. eye shadow
9. curler + mascara
10. blusher
11. eyebrow
12. lip gloss
    

I had no problem following with the steps as I always make up. However, some participants could not follow as the time given was short while the products were shared.

I had a glitter green on my eyes. Their glitter powder would fall all on your face, very bad...

I had nothing to buy with the rm100 voucher but it's not worth if I just threw it away~Thus, I finally bought these : a curler and a nail varnish.

The curler is quite cheap compare to Shu Uemura's, I just wanna give it a try.


The nail varnish is extremely expensive. If I had more budget, I would redeem something else.

Anna Aui's nail varnish is only rm54, RMK's costs rm 75!!!!

I will never buy their nail varnish again. Better go for my Anna Sui~ haha
